This is my family!  From left to right (down front) is my Mom, my nephew Mykal, my oldest daughter Emporess (in the pink), then me, my Dad in the middle, my baby girl Vashti (head sticking through), my sister Carla (who had just graduated), her oldest son and my other nephew..Matthew, on the back row...my Uncle George (my Mom's brother), his wife Elizabeth (Auntie), my sister's sister-in-law Willette and the big tall guy in the back is my sister's husband, Larue.

Where is my husband, Willie?  He was back home slinging groceries.  He's a chef so...he had to work.

My sister graduated from Calhoun Community College with three degrees.  (1) Accounting (2) Business (3) Family Financial Planning.  She was in the top (10) ten of her class of over 400 graduates and graduated Magna Cum Laude!  I'm a proud baby sister.  

The children are out of school!

I'm not sure whether I should laugh, cry, run or be still.  Summer brings so many things to the table.  You can't keep enough food in the refrigerator! 

They play all day so they're hungry all day. 

They're in and out of the house all day.

They're blowing up my cell phone because "she looked at me" or "she touched me"!

Then there's "Mom...I'm bored!"

I am so very grateful that we made it through the school year.  My oldest had some really tough classes and it was touch and go there for a while.  The youngest one sailed through with flying colors and is starring 4th grade down the throat.  Overall...we had a good year.

One thing I do regret is that we don't have a lot of time together this summer.  I'm going to make the best of it though...they'll be grown and gone before you know it.
